Chirripo is our highest mountain in Costa Rica. It is one of the most emblematic places for trekking. Exploring those 3820 meters in height is a challenge for vacationers, travelers, and tireless explorers. 

Our indigenous Cabecar referred to the Chirripo as "The Mountain of Eternal Waters". It is a delightful place to live nature, large trees of 50 meters in the lower parts and smaller trees of 4 meters in the peak of this magical mountain. On the way up you can observe birds of different kinds. About 400 different species have been counted in the area, and one of the most famous habitant is the quetzal. 

Chirripo has some very good walkers, they are expert inhabitants that go up and down like blows of wind. They are the pumas and the jaguars that inhabit this beautiful national park.
