DAY 2: SAN JOSE – DOMINICAL
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Dominical in the South Pacific. Accommodation.

DAY 3: CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK TOUR
The Corcovado National Park preserves the last portion of the Tropical Humid Forest of the Meso american Pacific. Its location, its climatic characteristics, the capricious condition of its soils and its topography, make this site the home of an amazing diversity of biological species. It has a flora that adds thousands of species, many of which have a restricted distribution and that have disappeared in other regions, as well as the fauna that stands out because of the diversity of its species, even more so if we consider that a large number figure in the list of those in danger of extinction. This is a full day tour from 07:30 am to 4:00 pm approximately, leaving Uvita heading to Corcovado in a boat trip of one hour and a half. Once we arrive, we´ll have a snack before the hike, the path we will take it´s called El Pargo trail. The hike takes approximately 2 hours. At the end of this trail, a Picnic-style lunch will be served at the San Pedrillo station and at the end, if the natural conditions (time and weather) allow it, a second walk will be taking place in the trail called La Catarata or Marco Reyes, the return from Corcovado to Uvita begins no later than 2:00 pm, because the weather and sea conditions vary (tides).

DAY 4: WHALES & DOLPHINS TOUR
This the best option to see most of the Marino Ballena National Park. The Boat departs from Punta Uvita Beach. A short walk separates us from the beach of the Marino Ballena National Park, where we start our boat tour. Now we begin to discover the area and the animals that live there. We will look out for whales (the chance of seeing them depends on the season), dolphins, various bird species and turtles. Highlights such as The Whale Rock, Playa Ventana with its impressive number of caves and of course the whale tail formation will also be part of this fascinating boat tour. While exploring the national park, you will have the opportunity to swim in the ocean or, depending on the water and weather conditions, snorkel. During the tour you can refresh yourself with fruit and water. After the excursion, you are free to stay in the national park or accompany us back to our office where the tour ends.

*The Humpback whales visit the Costa Rica waters and the Marino Ballena National Park between mid-July to October late (Southern Humpback Whales), and again in mid-December through late February (Northern Humpback Whales) as they migrate to and from feeding and mating grounds. The snorkelling is good only during the dry months (November late through June) due to visibility. The Bottle Nosed Dolphins and Pacific spotted Dolphins are regularly seeing year-round in the waters of the Ballena Marine Park. During the months with no whales this tour includes Dolphin encounter, snorkelling, bird watching, visit to the sea caves and one stop to a beautiful beach for relaxing an explore.
