Created in 1972, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is one of the most famous in the World and one of the most important private protected areas in Costa Rica, with an area of 3,500 hectares. It was chosen in 2007 as one of the Seven Wonders of Costa Rica. The geographical, topographical and climatic conditions of the Monteverde Reserve have conditioned the surprising biodiversity found there. In its forests are present four ecological ecosystems, which give rise to different ecosystems inhabited by hundreds of species of mammals, birds, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles, insects and spiders, diversity of mosses, epiphytes, lianas and other plants And trees typical of the Cloud Forest. DAY 9: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK TOUR

The Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of specimens of flora and fauna. The park has 3 different trails that vary in degree of difficulty from flat to very steep. Manuel Antonio is home to 3 of the 4 species of monkeys found in Costa Rica. Halfway to the walk you will make a leisure stop on the third beach located inside the national park. Along the walk you will be able to observe sloths, birds and reptiles, as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. At the end of the visit you will be provided transportation back to your hotel. The park is closed on Mondays. Includes: Transportation, naturalist guide, entrance fees to the park and snack.
