DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO COSTA RICA
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel in San José. Accommodation.
DAY 2: SAN JOSE – DRAKE BAY
Breakfast. Early departure and transfer from the hotel to the airport for the local flight to Bahia Drake in the Osa Peninsula. Air transfer San Jose - Drake Bay. Arrival to Drake and transfers (land and water) to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 3: CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK TOUR
This rainforest excursion is an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dense primary rainforest adjacent to San Pedrillo, Corcovado National Park’s northernmost ranger station. From the hotel, you’ll take a 25-minute boat ride along the west coast of the Osa. Once at the beach, we will begin our rainforest journey. During the morning hike, the certified guide will point out many of the diverse species along the trail You may see white-faced, spider and howler monkeys, white-lipped peccaries, scarlet macaws, coati, and countless other birds and insects. The trails are clearly marked and easy to navigate, ascending and descending through the primary rainforest. After the morning hike and a break for lunch, you will have the opportunity to hike to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way to the falls you will have another chance for your guide to point out more of the bio diverse flora and fauna. The waterfalls offer the perfect opportunity to relax, take a refreshing swim in the cool fresh water, and take some magnificent pictures of this beautiful area. After some time at the falls, we will return to the ranger station to catch the boat back to the hotel, and on the way, if we are lucky, we may have the chance to see dolphins breaching and spinning in the ocean. DAY 4: DRAKE BAY – MANUEL ANTONIO
Breakfast. Departure by water transfer to Sierpe to take the tourist transfer to Manuel Antonio in the Central Pacific. Accommodation.
DAY 5: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK TOUR
Explore the pristine natural beauty of this world-famous national park filled with exotic wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, birds, reptiles and butterflies. Your picturesque 2-mile hike will take you to one of the beaches named most beautiful in the world by Forbes magazine. Experience the lush rainforest behind you, white sandy beaches below, and crystalline blue waters during this refreshing 20-minute beach stop. DAY 6: MANUEL ANTONIO
Enjoy a day of beach and nature within the Manuel Antonio National Park. It is one of the smallest and most popular national parks in Costa Rica. In Manuel Antonio you can enjoy a relaxing day on one of the four beaches or take a walk through the vibrant green tropical jungle. From natural pools of sea water with crustaceans to species of monkeys in danger of extinction and impressive panoramic views.
